I just sold my Z06 today and I\'m damn sad about it.....

However, I'm thinking Viper for next spring. GTS or RT-10?

I love the GTS styling but the RT-10 is very close w/ the hard top on. What do u think?

can't go wrong with either.

MANY love the GTS (so do I) but theres NOTHING like driving with the top off in the RT or SRT.

GTS - you can drive it when it's too cold for the RT/10 and when it's too hot for the RT/10 without having to hassle with the top. The only drawback is there are no open top rides, but I think the slightly better looks (they both look incredible) of the GTS make up for it.

If you like both then if I was you I'd go with the RT/10 since you're in San Diego and get alot of top off weather.

GTS for me, but I've never been a big fan of convertibles. FWIW, I bought a GTS new in 99 and a Z06 new in 01. I drove the Z06 for almost 40,000 miles before I sold it - still have the Viper.

RT/10, gotta love the lines on the car. You get the best of both worlds, hard top when you want it and convertible when you need it. I always favored the looks of the RT/10 over the GTS but both are good looking cars. Good luck with your purchase!

I favor the GTS - looks great from all angles. But I've got to say that the RT/10 looks awesome, especially from behind. It is so wide and low and can not be mistaken for any other car. I let my '94 go because my wife would not ride in it - messed her hair up in the wind.

If decide on a GTS. I'm selling my 99 black with stripes and connolly. Pretty rare color combo. I think less than twenty. It has 8,300 miles. Has Borla/Mopar exhaust,Mopar performance computer,T&D 1.7 roller rockers with push rods,SVS billet throttle bodies with cold air package. Never been raced. Drop me and email if interested.

I would say if you are used to a FRC, then go with with the GTS

Having an RT...it is the icon of the Viper look. Low, wide, and you can go top off if you want to. GTS is cool, but you can't transform it like you can the RT. Just my two cents though.
