I swaped my 5# pulley for an 8# pulley and my belt came off

When I went from a 5 to a 7 I used the same belt. When I went from a 7 to a 10 I used a different belt AND a different size idler pulley. Have you asked Sean ?

I went from 7 to 8. From 5 to 7, i was ok and never a problem. Maybe i need a shorter belt

Try a 7 ribbed 98" belt. I had a problem with my 98.5" belt slipping and SQUEEEEEEEEEEZED on a 97.5" belt. No more slipping

hmm dont know, but im going to change my pulley from 8# to 10# this week so i will let you know. also anyone knows how to change pulley, torque spec..etc i never done that with my Roe setup. Thanks

I think it is 65 ft-lb. Ask Sean for sure. Its easy to do, you just need a good grip on the pulley. It you leave your belt on that may help and work out for you.

I removed mine while the blower was off of the car. I put two 1/4" bolts in the outer holes in the pulley, kept the pulley from rotating by putting a large screw driver in between the two bolts, and just removed the pulley bolt.

I went to Advanced Auto and got the "gator type" 7 ribbed belt. I am away from home right now, so I can't get you the part number, but it was 97.5" and it was the longest one they had. I'll post the # when I get back. I want to say the make was a Vasco, not positive though.
