today a few of us decided to drive about 45 minutes to a nearby town for lunch at the ******* restaurant. my son, who is 7, got to take the drive in jeffs red/white FGT! (THANKS JEFF - AGAIN!) then, on the way home, my son got to drive in my GTS.

tomorrow is a big photoshoot day. Photog1 has gotten permission from the local authorities, the shut down a major road, and take pics in the road of the local high school girls basketball team, surrounded by of course, VIPERS! today, john gastman gave us permission to come and get (4) more vipers from his dealership for the shoot! so, my son got to go with me and my friends for another 25 minute road trip, and pickup the four vipers! for this road trip, we got to ride in a silver gen III car with the top down! NICE!

as soon as we arrived at robs house, we started shooting pics! here is one of them of me and my son. my kids and i are very fortunate to have so much fun in one day!

we will post pics tomorrow of the photoshoot. we are expecting around 15 vipers tomorrow.

THANKS AGAIN JOHN AND DENNY!!! :2tu:

funny side note about pic - we had a 18' ladder in the street that we used to take this pic. it was fun to watch people drive by us and wonder why we had such a large ladder in the street, then look over at robs house and get this "OMG!!" look in their face!! :lmao:

I may have to take a ride, plus all the girls love a nice yellow viper. Everyone knows that yellow vipers are always the fastest!

Come on down I can use all the Vipers I can get.:2tu: I am planning on kind of a traffic jam in the street with all Vipers. Bring your Viper friends and their Vipers.:D We got 12 Vipers for sure but I would take some more. The address of the shoot is the corner of jefferson st and first st. Only 1 block off main street Downtown Morton. Town is small so it should be easy to find.
Thanks!!

Rob - Make sure you have film in the camera.

We did one a few years back and then cut and pasted them inside the gym and added reflections on the floor. It looked like the vipers were actually in the school's gym.
I would have someone shoot a picture of you taking the pictures and then do a press release. Have fun.

Here you go Rob. We did one with horses at a barn too and put them in the gym with photoshop. I'd like to see the janitor guys face when he first sees the pictures with cars and horses on his gym floor.

Nice job guys. That's a difficult project. Trying to get that many girls to show up at the same time, stop talking to each other and stop messing with their hair is the first challenge. Then to cordinate that many vipers to show up at the right time and try to arrange them in the right color coded angles and order is another big challenge. Can't wait to see the finished pictures.

i was very impressed with the girls. they were being very cautious when told to lean on the cars and that was greatly appreciated. the girls who are sitting on cars, are actually sitting on towels. i didnt get to meet them all, but the ones i met were very nice. i am sure the picture is going to look great and i cant wait to get a copy!

FYI - rob (the photographer) was shooting the pics from atop a 12' ladder in the middle of the street. so the team pics are going to look much better than the ones i got from street level!

let me also add the robs daughter did a great job directing the whole thing, and my 7 year-old son Jared did a great job helping to hold the ladder for rob all day! nice job everyone! :2tu:

Hey guys, got home fine, thanks guys. It was a nice drive and nice to meet some of the other Illinois viper owners. Sorry I couldn't stay for lunch. I had to get back to check on my grandmother who had been taken to the hospital. Turns out things look ok with her so all was well.

Again Nice to meet you guys. Drive was not bad at all. Got to stretch the old legs. Plus it was a great day. :2tu:

"Fast Times at Morton High"

...for this to be true, you should've moved the 2 silver Vipers to the back and replaced them with 2 more red ones. But, good enough I suppose :D

Sorry Chad I Know that is true red Vipers are the fastest but Morton's school colors are cherry and gray so that is the reason for Red and Silver Vipers...
of course my Viper does happen to be in the front.:dunno: and my daughter is the tall 6'1" starting forward in the middle with her arms crossed.

and.....these girls are all to youg for Chad....:nono: :nono: :nono:
