YesI put the short throw shifter with the logo knob, its got a great feel to it. Its hard dimpled rubber/plastic feel.

Where are they from ? Those dont look like the soft dempled rubber kind as seen below.

Those look like the Comp Coupe / Mopar Knobs... shiny like new pool balls...

looks slippery to me...

Quite the opposite. The size is not as big as a billiard ball, so it fits perfectly in my hand when cupped. It is like it made to be there. Pulling back on it allows a very comfortable but solid lock with the fingers, and push forward the knob cradles into the palm of your hand locked in perfect with the main muscles of the thumb keeping it from moving any.

To you point, yes, it is very smooth surface and if you a were using your fingertips to shift or using a very loose grip it might cause your issues. So I guess what I am saying is, "Don't shift like a girl and you will be A-OK." :drive:
