Is this noise normal?

My current Viper is the only one I've ever driven or ridden in. Under part throttle it makes a high pitched whistle sound. It sounds like it comes from the front of the engine. Is this normal?

Check under the hood near the front to see if you got one of the rare factory supercharged models. You can also tell because instead of the voltmeter there will be a boost gauge. Just kidding. If you have smooth tubes you will hear this whistling sound.
