Yep, If I remember correctly they are early WWI guns. If it is in good shape they are worth having. By good shape I mean original, I would think from the description it has been "modified" for a scope mount, could have had the stock cut up as well.

Anyone by chance know the new owner?
I saw who bought it, but did not know him. It went for $35K. Jeremy showed me all over it, opened the hood and was very nice to talk to. He also had a nice 04 Viper truck that the sale fell through on an internet bid for $26K. Jeremy asked me to make an offer, but I told him I did not want to insult him since my offer would have been a lot lower than $26K.

Man. I met Jeremy a bunch of times while he was racing. He was super nice and a real down to earth guy. What the hell happened to him?
I just met him at the auction, never met him before. I can tell you he was extremely nice to me and my wife. He is down to earth. He and I were trying to get the hood latch unstuck on the Viper. He seemed like a regular guy. As far as what happened to him, I am not sure and will not pass judgement. I have heard a lot and did a lot of internet searches after I met him. I suggest to look at all the information. There seems to be more going on. This situation appears to be headed to court and it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
