Jul 07 C&D BlueDevil but no Viper?

In the July C&D they have the "20 cars worth waiting for". In it is a little blurp of the 09 corvette blue devil. "GM's lips are sealed (on the powertrain), but we expect a 650 horsepwer from an engine that displaces more than the pushrod 7.0-liter V-8 in the Z06." It also mentions 0-60 in 3.0 "give or take a blink"

Is the blue stingray (or whatever) officially going to be developed? I was very disappointed C&D wrote so much about rumors and didn't even mention the 08 viper? which has plenty (albeit not thorough) information? Someone should write C&D a backfire (or better yet I should just unsubscribe!)

BTW the challenger is kind of exciting and IT DID GET MENTIONED!

You could buy a Gen 2 or used SRT10 and twin turbo both of them for less, and beat it...

You would also come out less than $100,000.

And STILL look better than a Vette with a Camara SS hood
