Just got done installing my HD Half Shafts...question

I just got done installing my half shafts....I've seen people install these without taking off the suspension....what is the trick in doing this...I am not sure if the cars with the recall work you can do this? It was sort of a pain in the ass to do it, but installed my stuff under 1.5 hours and taking off my rear suspension....just curious how everyone else does theirs?

You have to remove the two u-joint caps to get the joint through the shock wishbone.

Or you could just cut the wishbone leg and then weld it back together
