Keep the OEM Amplifier?

I'm busy upgrading my stereo system.

In addition to the new head unit and door speakers, I bought an Alpine multi-channel amp and an Alpine mono channel amp to run the new subwoofer (which is going to be mounted in the passenger seat floor well.)

Is the stock amp still useful? Can/should I use it to power some of the speakers, or is it now useless?

stock amp is uselss, The alpine 4 channel amp is more than enough to run your entire system. You could use channels 1&2 for mids and high's, and combine channels 3&4 (mono mode) for the sub in the foot well. But the alpine mono amp if a bonus is you really want to use it. If you really want to save some time and space and will look better in my opinion, is get the alpine 6 channel amp. its basically 2 amps in 1 package. .02
