last 300 side exhaust

My 95 viper is number 1454 out of some 1550 Vipers made this year. This should make it easily one of the last 300 side exhaust cars, but I can't find any stamping? Am I looking in the wrong place, or was it accidentally left off? I am assuming the serial numbers are more or less sequential.

Do you have an Autoform hardtop? The underhood latch on the passenger side might cover the stamping, at least partially.
