Hahahaha... that is hilarious! And she didn't even know what she was about to drive!!! In the end... she spots a cop ahead and saves the guy a ticket (probably).
And THATS exactly why I don't take the wife with me in the Viper!!! I'd rather get the ticket than hear someone say "slow down". OMG!!!

Sorry, what a pain in the @$$. Somehow I doubt that's his wife. What wife does'nt know what kind of car the husbands driving. True story here, 1988 my first date with my now wife. I'm driving my Camaro real conservative, she looks at me and says why are you driving so slow? I'm thinking wow, no beautiful girl I've ever dated ever said that! An hour later a Mustang drives by and she says, race him! Well I guess the rest is history.

I drive fast sometimes, but my Wife drives fast all the time. Her daily driver has 625 HP (twin-turbo GTO)

My wife loves the Viper and drives it whenever she can. When I met her in 1989 she was driving a 1988 Trans Am GTA that was the special edition T/A with the Vette engine. I was driving a 1988 Conquest TSI. She could beat me in a straight line, but could not follow that Conquest through the corners. Talk about a great autocross car back then. :drive:

My wife says she's afraid to drive ours and that's the way I like it. I'll never have to worry about her wrecking it while I'm away on one of my bike trips or something.

She doesn't mind riding in it; probably because I don't drive like a ******* on public roads and scare her.

When I win the new ACR I am going to give my Copperhead to my wife. She loves it. At Viper club events we switch between the Ram SRT10 and the Viper. She can drive pretty good and has only been verbally scared a couple times (I don't really blame her we were on a mountain pass going really fast where there was no guard rail..it was a long way down).

Like how you worded that one: WHEN you win the ACR :lmao: !! Wouldn't it be nice to then drive TWO Vipers~~okay, a tad expensive, especially with the ACR...gotta be so careful with the front splitter...and hey, I think ANYBODY'd be scared driving down a mountain pass FAST with no guard rail~~EEEEESH!!! ~juli
Good for you both for enjoying Viper driving together as well :2tu:

Wow, great example of why they should give some driving tests to any camry driving ***** who can scrape together the ~$700 to rent a car that has more than 300 hp.

Of course it reminds me of the first time I drove my 97, after moving up from a TT ricer, I was saying "whoa" for a few days everytime I hit the gas, I was quite the ***** back then too (maybe still am!!)...

:D I made a date cry once. We left a parking lot onto the main drag and I purposefully got it squirrely and fished the back out and back about 70 degrees to the road. She told me she thought we were going to die. :D

Edit: P.S..... I only did it because she had been NAGGING me for half an hour already that I was going too fast at 5mph over... when I was actually consciously driving very nicely to accommodate her. I finally hit my threshold. We dated for a while and then we lived happily ever after...... apart.

LMAO. I don't think I'd want to be sitting in that car, in the passenger seat. Hell, anytime I just take someone for a ride in my car. Next summer I'll have to build a mount pointing the camera at the passenger.

My wife is OK with me driving (at least No nagging), but I don't think I'd say she really enjoys it. Might be because we wrecked my old 600hp GTS by spinning into a Semi. Then I replaced it with a 720rwhp Sapphire Viper. Couldn't believe her when she said I could buy a Hummer Yuck.

But, she hung in there (absolutely no sound from the passenger side) while I got 2nd in the Hill Climb. Sideways after all 23(?) corners. Gotta giver her credit.
