I'm in Canmore with a broken Viper and to add to my misery is the fact that we had 3 inches of snow and its still snowing. It actually looks awesome but I cant believe there is snow on the ground in August. Canmore is a small resort town close to Calgary Alberta. It's a beautiful town tucked in the mountains. Crazy mountain weather.

Ouch, man that *****. I'm not too far from you in Edmonton and it's chilly, about 10 C but nothing like that.

Wow. I was on vacation in Canmore same time last year. Beautiful town and weather.

What is the status on your car? Have you found help?

I wish you luck. I am dreading the snow and having to put my GTS away this year. I am just getting ready to do some driving with the nice fall weather. :2tu:

It's funny you say that. I was just bragging to a couple buddies about how great my Viper has been and what good luck I have had with it. I've had it for 3 summers now and I have not had to do 1 repair on it which I found amazing. I guess a u joint is a pretty minor thing in the grand sceme of things.

I'm in Detroit and it's a muggy 90F or so. Fri was group B9-16 drag strip day. Rained pretty heavy Wed and Thurs mornings so no drag times for half the Vipers here at VOI 10. Tours were Wed for us and we did the driving stuff at Chelsea/Chrysler Proving Grounds Fri afternoon.

Group B did Parade laps this morning for Grand Prix. We had over 100 Vipers on Belle Isle track before the Big race today. Too bad we have to run the heaviest car on the track (because of engine size) and really too bad that we're forced to run 30 or 40% intake restrictor plates. It was kind of amazing that the Vipers do so well, It was a Porsche at the rear.

Weather at the Grand Prix was too hot and humid for comfort.

Sorry to hear about your breakdown and snow.

One of the Alberta VCA members lost his clutch yesterday morning and it was handled by the SRT crew. Rumor was that they got free parts or something ??? Great hosts here.
