Looking for Gen 3 block and crank

I'm looking for a Gen 3 engine and crank for a new project. Don't really want to buy a whole new short block since I will be replacing pistons and rods.

I remember reading that someone here dismantled and sold parts.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Whew thanks. Have struck out thus far. I am rebuilding and replacing rods/pistons at the same time.

DCX only sells in a complete short block which is little overkill since I'll be chucking rods/pistons when we start. Was hoping to find a cheaper bare block and crank...

It is a little "Heat Treated" but as you are going to build the engine and machine the block anyway, this might be ok.

Thank you thank you. My builder told me to steer clear of that one being that it was in a fire hot enough to melt the heads while they were bolted to the block! Ouch!
