absoluthank has been keeping an ear open for me.. found some nice upgrades from my factory 97's... but would really like to hold out for some ACRs..

they seem impossible to find undamaged or in a whole set. seems like someone crashes one and people sell them wheel by wheel.. sigh..

anyone hear of anything please let me know!

I think they look better than aftermarket wheels. Surely someone has a set they will sell. The way things are going, they will be worth as much as the car before long. I took my original wheels/tires off and purchased a driver set. :)

I've just never been a fan of chrome wheels... although I really like the SRT "blades" i think they're called... hank had a set for me but I wasnt in a position to buy at the time.
I plan on keeping my GTS wheels. I know even with tires they're worth less than 1000 but I like original stuff.

Last time I called PartsRack and asked about Gen 2 ACR wheels they were $1k EACH. For that price I'm getting some Forgelines and having $$$ left over.

I'm in no hurry. There will be either someone looking to clean out their garage or a damaged viper being parted out or someone just feeling generous sooner or later.
while they may be rare, they're not exactly a wheel that can fit on a lot of cars.. small market.

Check VCA classifieds. I've purchased from the seller and was very happy with the entire transaction.

$3200 is not cheap but not outrageous. I bought a nice set of ACR wheels over 4 years ago for $3500 shipped.

Never dealt with this seller but definitely worth checking into. Plus you my be able to work a better deal. They look to be in nice shape.

Just my 2 cents.

I understand the value of them... however.. anything over $3000 and I start looking at aftermarket which other than being a factory correct wheel is usually better in every way.

the seller has responded. thanks for your .02

I think you're the guy that Ryan mentioned to me about today. I have a buddy who might be selling a set here in the next month or so. I see you just bought some though. Great wheels!

Those wheels look good. And if the cost wasn't so high to get a set i would hunt down a set for my ACR. The previous owner sold them and put stock GTS wheels on it.
Hope you like them and post some pics after.

wonder why the previous owner did that??? they're for sure a favorite wheel of mine, i'm pretty exited to get the set. factory wheels are the way to go.
