So recently my car has had a real low idle several times upon starting, seems like it is about to die, though doesn't quite do so. What's the problem and what's the solution?

If it is for your Gen2 you probably need to have the throttle bodies synced up again so the air flow is correct.

Looks like you have a gen 2 & 3. I have a gen 2 97 gts. A few years back my idle started having issues. I replaced the throttle sensor and all was good after that.

He has a Gen III, battery?
I get the same thing when my car sits for a while. Originally I thought it was my 02 sensors but I really think it does it when the battery is low. Does it clear up after car is warmed up? When was the last time you started it and got it to operating temp?
