Lug Nuts and HRE Wheels

Quick question. The chrome plating on my lug nuts is peeling on a few so I want to replace them. My question is as I have HRE wheels on my car that where there before I got the car, are the lug nuts factory or does HRE rims require a special HRE nut?

The lug nuts are different for one reason or another. When I got mine they came with lug nuts which are a different size than stock. You might want to call HRE to confirm either way. Let me know what they say.

I put the McGard spline drive on when I did my iForged. Very nice lug nut, and 1/2 pound lighter that the factory nut set of (24). But pricey too. $125 for (24).

Just take one off and go to a tire dealer.

The factory lug nuts are'nt chrome.

HRE has lug nuts made for the HRE wheels due to the angle and depth of the wheels. I would contact HRE if you want new lug nuts.

any tire/wheel shop should be able to match them...they did on mine...they were about $ 2 a piece...chrome - worked like a charm...
