Measurements for white stripes

Hi all,
I have a 96 RT/10 and am going to put white stripes down it. I spoke with a car graphic guy who can do it, but needs to know how wide the stripes need to be and how far apart from each other. Can any one help?

In my shop right now I have a 96GTS blue/stripes and a 02/GTS/ACR Graphite/stripes[available!], they both measure the same[stripes] 8inchs wide and the space between them is 4&7/16inchs.

Wizard, are you sure? The 96 stripes were different from later cars (bigger gap between stripes as I recall) Have 2001 stripes reverted to the HOT 96 style?

Hi Bill,
I measured the 96 & 02 twice and came up with the same on each vehicle?[8"W-space4&7/16"] There are five Vipers in my shop now but only two with stripes.I'll have to measure other years as they come in.

For 1996, the stripes are 209 mm wide with a 100mm space between them. 1997 and up has 203 mm stripes with 112 mm space between them.

I got an e-mail this morning from Jim and he said that:
"96-98: 3 7/8" gap with 8 1/4" stripes and 99-01: 4 3/8" gap
with 8" stripes?"

96 RTs "Tear" drop stripes are different also.

Well you got me? I measured the two Vipers in my shop[96-02]
and that is what I came up with.

If some of you that has a Viper with stripes would you
measure them and please post it here!
