Mercedes SLR vs. Viper

Watched this video Tuning Linx - Car Videos of the SLR and the numbers are pretty close to the new Viper (3.8sec and 208mph). I guess the 1/3 cost Viper would probably lose racing? It would be nice to see someone sell a airbrake spoile like it's got for the Viper wouldn' it?

True and my $50 casio keeps better time then a rolex... SLR buyers are paying for status.

Its a nice car. Wrapped in carbon fiber to reduce weight. I would hate to see that price for body work. Might be cheaper to buy a new one.

I had a VERY short run with an SLR last year and from a dig to about 60-70 he had me by 1-2 cars. VERY fast car but i didnt feel bad since his sticker was $400,000+ and im at $50,000 LOL
