modified stock cats ?

trying to install the stock cats to a 3" B&B headers and the outlet to Borla cat-back or even better the stock exhaust !

any help or pictures will be much appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what you really want. The stock cat is already connected to your stock exhaust. You can put a reducer on the end of the 3" B&B collector and weld it to the inlet of the OEM cat. Really a bad mismatch if you ask me though.

You could also cut the cat back to where the opening would be 3" and weld it to your 3" catback.

The only question I have is WHY?

You are keeping the worst part of the system. It will continue to burn up the Side Sills.

im trying to pass inspection LOL ! i do have a 3" HF cats but i really dont want to cut my B&B !!

i will check it again and i may try PhonixGTS idea

You can pass with the Random Techs. Some posters have said that they run cleaner than the stock Cats.

Some people even cut the stock cat in half (at the center weld) to help improve flow. Not sure what it will do on the emission aspect though.
