Mushy clutch update Gen 4.

Just got back from dealer to fix my clutch travel problem on the 09. The tech informed me that DC has an issue with some of these when new and that they want DOT 4 fluid used now instead of DOT 3. He flushed the system and is fine for now.

Please help ME out here...I must have missed something.

The last Viper Service Manual that recommended DOT 3 brake fluid for the clutch was 1997 !!!

From 1998 forward, they DO use DOT 4.

ok here i will help u out,the dealer is probably just telling a bull shet story to make him feel good,seems to me that it is a air cavitation fault that once u bleed it good,u wont have any more issues..
