acceleration. It seems to want to dwell in the 1200-1500 RPM range for extended periods (5-20 seconds) even though it's at operating temperature. I've checked the springs and they seem strong enough. Could this be some kind of computer control problem related to the cold weather?

One also wonders about intake manifold gasket problem...though, with ours, idle occasionally held as high as 1800 after liftoff. I'm sure others have more ideas as well. Good Luck,

What about a sticky idle air control motor unit (?) if so it should set a trouble code (I think it's "25" you can get them up with out going to a dealer by turning your ignition key on / off consecutively three times, and counting the times the instrument pod light flashes, when you count 55, flashed as 5 and 5 this is the last code stored indicator)
