I can't say how much I appreciate being able to be a part of your wonderful creation! When you first told me everything that you planned on doing to your car I though "maybe a little overkill"! All I can say is WOW man was I wrong it turned out beautiful. I really like Scott's front-end treatment and the way that you did those stripes "uniform front to back". Love that car and can't say it enough. I am so ready to do another interior for someone maybe another color?? I really do not advertise my products except on a few boards and by word of mouth. I really want to get two complete interiors to so that I can do a turn and earn system. My only reserve to that is the parts (such as door panels and knee bolsters) will fit back into you car better than other parts. Keep in touch and hope to see you here in FL when you have the "biggest mod of all done".
Cute kid and makes me think how wonderful a person and parent that you are for having and caring for a special child with special needs. Obviously you have blessed with her and blessed with things like a beautiful Viper with enough funds make it into the beast that it is.

What has this world come to? People posting images of their kids half dressed. Many will know that I do not always agree with things that happen here....but I am 100% behind this. Did you ever think there might be some whacko out there "polishing his Viper" while admiring your daughter???

I never used to worry about it, but my wife was ALWAYS very adamant about images of our kid. Goes back to when we lived in the UK and I was making web pages for family/friends to see. As it turns out, she was ALWAYS right about that. The fact that you WANT to post pics of a little seven year old girl without a top on has me quite curious about you, and surely has me seeing you in a different light. THEN....when someone steps up in an effort to protect, you cry "WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO?", and again I say:

It has come to a place where fathers want to post pics of a little seven year old girl without a top on.

Scary!

PSS. I'd like to add that I would have thought any normal parent would have a reaction more like:

"Wow, I never thought about that, whew, that was really not a good idea I guess"

and quite possibly learned something. Instead they shift the focus OFF their lack of better judgement and complain. Many HERE might disagree with it....but I'd venture to guess that the human race (in general) would have done the same thing or supported the action. I guess if you, as a father, want to post pictures of your half-dressed child you are entitled to do so...just not here. Seems honest and forthright to me.

LOL, Carl the pic you saw christmas lights was on old pic from looking at the rear of the car. I assure you their gone. And yes they deleted the pic for reasons you probably realize. the garage I'm working on but since I have three kids and a ton of junk, I may just build one just for my toy!

Whoa!!!! First let me apologize for coming off STRONG. It is just that my wife has rubbed off on me as far as the internet and images of children.

I just want to say that I seriously doubt it was removed because it offended anyone. The fact that you are a proud parent is priceless in my book....that is awesome. I think I was originally more upset at myself for not having thought of removing the image myself, hence some of my frustration. It SHOULD have been directed more at myself. I think if we agree that the issue was NOT the picture of your daughter....but rather the way the image was taken, then I am the first to say I misunderstood and apologize. I don't want to make too much of this....I think I already did though....sorry!

You know in the past I have been kicked off the board for alot of stupd $ht but I can seriously say that the only problem of the picture is that us here in America, because of all the freaks that have made this country like this, take offense to a little girl.Jeez man, when you go to the beach, have you never seen a little girl like that??Tony, if you came to europe you would then really freak out.But then again, I can't blame you for thinkiing like that because this is the defense we take to ideas that have been forced in are heads. One thing that we are forced to do is watch the legal issues of the web and we follow cases involving the web very closly.

It is a fact that sites and individuals have been prosecuted for posting images of this sort. Please understand that the last thing we want is for a child services person to show up at a users door to "protect a child" because of a cute picture posted on the web. The sad reality of this society is that the "state" does take children away from parents for the reasons that sometimes make no sence. It happens, and we do not want it to happen from something posted on this web site.

As I told Adam in the note I sent him:

"I hope you understand, but we are going to need to remove the first picture in your post.... We know it was intended to be cute, but in this day and age, it could be construed as something completely different. If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a note."

We cannot change a legal system that has become incresingly protective of minors, often even to the extent of completely ignoring parental writes. If you wish to discuss this further, lets move it over to the site suggestions area.

I made a judgemental mistake in posting the pic of my daughter not realizing people would focus in on that and not the pics of my car. My post stated that "This one is my favorite" with my daughter standing in front with a bathing suit bottom and no top. I certainly don't need anyone telling me what to do. However under the circumstances I accept Tony and Herberts explanation of liability and perception by others.

Yo-Tony.....I spent 3 years living in the South of England and 3 years in Sicily, all that stuff is far from new to me. However:

My only gripe was that the first chance someone gets to point their finger and say the VCA treated them badly, or "they censored me", etc....they grab it by the horns. I apologize to all if my words seemed too harsh. I firmly believe this is one time there should have been a little more support for removal of this particular image. I guess I was a little pissed at myself for not realizing this. I am nNOT good at analogies (obviously), but I can only liken it to my son. He is now going to be in braces another 2 years because his previous orthodontist didn't recognize that he needed a differrent appliance. The thought of him being in braces 2 more years just kills me! The thought of some whacko downloading images (however slight the possibility may be) does the same thing.

And you're right Tony....it is no big deal in some places.....
