My oil usage, typical ?

Curious what others have found, is using a quart in 1,300 miles or so typical for you?

At 5,000 miles on the clock and 1,300 miles since my oil change last fall I just added a quart of M1 10w30 to top it off, which didn't seem too bad to me.

Your oil useage is just about typical....for a mixed city/hiway driven car. Your 2000(or 01) may even IMPROVE when you get 7500 miles on it!

Depending on driving venue, I have had my own motors go 2500 miles before needing 1 QT but this is rare.......always a highway-only situation.

PAY ATTENTION to the dipstick marks . . . ADD to FULL is a TWO quart variance..........
