My guess based off the 1/8 mile and 1000' would be -.17 maybe a little more. 9.87 would have been a 9.65 to 9.70
The 1/8 mph was 2.32 faster...wow....would that have been 154 PLUS holy shmoly !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Being an 1/8 mile racer, the 6.34 is mighty impressive.

Edit: Let me add this. I raced my Formula for two years in an index class...the only reason was that a win was worth $5000. With no, or a small amount of $$$ on the line, I had rather loose than let out. I know the rules would be hard to come by, but it sure would be nice. Also....lets remember that heads up racing...index or not is supposed to be done on a pro tree. Talk about interesting....six speeds/Vipers/pro trees .....now that's interesting !! Isn't the NSCA/NMCA Viper to be class a pro tree class ?

Tony I would say more like a 9.76 @ 153, you have to compare the ET and MPH of the 9.93 pass not the 9.87 pass :2tu:

The 9.87 is .17 better at the 1/8 and .17 better at the 1000' mark....why do you think it would not be .17 better at the 1/4 mile traps ? .

I do!!!! But you have to compare both timeslips all the way down.

At the 1/8th mile he is .17 secs faster on the 9.87 run than the 9.93 run.

At the 1/8th mile he is 2.32 mph faster on the 9.87 run than the 9.93 run.

So you subtract .17 from 9.93 and you get 9.76 secs.

Then you add 2.32 to 151 and you get 153.32 mph.

I regret the fact that I did not finish the RUn to full capacity. I really had no Idea it was the 9.87. I learned alot from this.

WOW i could have set the benchmark high!!!

My bad.....your right....for some reason I was taking the .17 off the 9.87 and not the 9.93, duh. I just can't figure this stuff out that you guys call "drag racing"....what is that thingy between the cars with the purty lights ??

Anyway..in my defense :) did you see what I posted in the other threadnBEFORE Roof posted the slips ?? pretty close:

"Fantastic run and a great race....thanks Roof. On the 9.87 he had to let out so he wouldn't break the 10.00 index (Well, try not to break out ). When you let out at the end of a pass or tap the brakes right at the traps it kills mph but doesn't hurt the et as much. Not to take anything from Roof but that would have been in the 9.75 to 9.82 range depending on when and what was done to slow the car.....either way great numbers"

Yeah DOug built a fast car. I know yours will be the next car to beat! cannot wait to play in the florida sun!!!
I highly doubt I'm going to be faster than you David (maybe on the street ;) ), but I will give it a shot :D I'd love for you to take a pass or two in my beast and see what it can do :headbang: How awesome will it be if we can get 5 or 6 Dlm cars in one event. I'd love to have a showdown between us where the winner gets a free Dlm Turbo upgrade maybe :D What do you say Doug :headbang:

Do you realize you gained 40.14 MPH in the 2nd 1/8 mile?

The SVS Turbo Car only gained 33.42 MPH in the 2nd 1/8 mile.

That's a lot of F'ing power! How did you do it?

[/QUOTE]TOOFAST,
Just because your car is extremely slow and you couldn't fathom what it's like to go fast, do you have a hard time believing the truth?
Your stab is wrong. The car has NO nitrous on it.

It has a lot of people scratching their heads. I'm not surprised.... DLM has been making the power for years. David's a good driver that wants to standup and show what he can do.... Great job Dr. Roof. :2tu:

I don't know why anybody needs nitrous with a supercharger anymore? DLM power has gone a long way making reliable horsepower. Doug has A LOT of sc only cars pumping out over 800 rwhp :2tu: Congrats you guys on making some serious power

When Doug says there's NO nitrous on the car you can honestly believe him. Forgetting what the car makes on the dyno...What do you guys suppose the horsepower and torque would be on the car moving down the track with 40 degree cold air blowing across the intercooler & intake? How much more horsepower do you think???
