Hey all - I've had my 2000 RT10 for about a year and put roughly 1k miles on it during that time. I've recently noticed that the transmission is having issues. I cannot get the car into gear on most days unless I have the key "on", but the engine off. Once it's in gear, I can hold the clutch, start the car, and begin using it. After a little driving, it warms up and becomes a little smoother (shifting), but still not great. From research, it seems like it's possibly a slave cylinder issue, but I'm not certain. Even with the clutch pushed, if I take my foot of the brake, it begins slowly rolling in the direction (forward or backward) of the gear I have it in, so maybe it's something else and clutch-related? Regardless, I'm relatively new to Viper ownership and don't have a specific person around my immediate area that I can rely on for transmission work and hoping to not get hosed due to ignorance. I've been a lifelong European car owner (BMW/MB), and have much familiarity with those cars, and I've done plenty of work on them, but not this one. Given the appreciation for this car, I don't want to make any matters worse in tinkering, as I usually do on my other cars. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated as I begin looking for someone to rely on here. Thanks!
