I just put the front stock pads back on my '02 GTS and when I was pulling back into the garage I realized I forgot to pump the brakes a couple of times to bring the pads back to where they're supposed to be. As I am pumping the pedal I can feel the pressure building, which seems to be fine. After I got to a certain point, when I pushed on the pedal I could hear something that sounded like air escaping from around the pedal (more noticeable than before). The pressure seems to be fine and I'm able to stop ok and it only seems to happen when the engine is running. I have no idea why changing pads would cause this and it just seems coincidental. Does anyone know where that "air releasing" noise is coming from around the brake pedal? Thanks in advance.
