Looking at buying a house in Lone Tree. Problem is, I am not sure the Viper can get into the drive way. Slight **** from road to drive way. Seeing that I didn't have my car with me, could some body drive by and CAREFULLY see if you car will make it. OK if you have a GEN 3. I think I will be geting a coupe if I move there. So if your out for a weekend drive.....

Thanks in advance. Want to put a offer on it right away!

What I have to do is put down a 2x10 board. Is your viper lowered? Mine is lowered 1" so it will hit if I don't put the board down. If the weather clears up by tomorrow I could swing by there and check it out. It's only 6 miles from me. I'll let you know. I would not let this stop you from buying the house because there are ways around this unless you don't want to hassle with a ramp or board.

I agree...I have a rise from street to driveway as well. Mine requires a couple of 2x6 ramps to get up...or you can pay to have a "curb cut" done...about $500 if the county does it.

Nice looking house though.

Dead center my car is 2 3/4" Under front bumper.

Man, that would be a real big favor I would owe! If you could take your Viper over there! Shot a picture or too, if you can.

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well...I have good news and bad news.

Good News
I took a drive over there (since I am currently unemployed and have nothing else to do). I got there as the owner (John...nice guy) was moving out. Told him what I was doing and we checked and yes, the Viper will go up in the driveway if you approach at an angle. He also writes insurance and was going to get me a quote from Hagarty for the Viper.

Bad News
As you may have noticed they are still doing construction over there. Well...I got a lovely big a$$ed screw in my back tire.

I heard the hissing of air escaping the tire as I was talking to the owner and he directed me to a tire shop down the road. I got there and thought they could simply plug the tire and I would be on my way. Turns out the screw is about 4 inches long and damaged the sidewall (from the inside) and the tire is irrepairable. They had to order me a tire from Michelin and it wont be in until Wednesday :( And it is a spectacular $529 to replace. Ugh :curse:

Anyway..the good news for you is that the car will fit with no issues.

Thanks... Loved the golf course at Pradera, one of the most fun I have ever played. Think I will joining, at Lone Tree AND Meridian.

Just wainting on Todd to measure the front underneath lowest point dead center, to make sure my car isn't way lower then his.

What is the lowest point on a Gen 3 coupe stock measure at?

Sorry, David...I was unable to get over to the tire shop where my car is (it is on the other side of town) before they close. Since they aren't open tomorrow, it will be Monday before I can check. Perhaps we can put another thread out there for someone to run out to their garage and check?

Okay, just checked...mine is 3 1/8 inch from bottom of lip to ground, dead center.

David, hope this helps.
