Need help locating a Viper owner with last name Johnson...

I just bought my 1999 Viper a couple weeks ago and learned that the previous owner may still have the extended warranty in his name. I know this is a long shot, but if anyone here can help me locate him/her I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is what I know:

The car is a 1999 Silver ACR
Previous owner last name is Johnson
The car was originally purchased in Colorado 11/22/1999
Record (CarFax) indicates that it remained registered in Colorado through 06/20/2001
The next record shows that it was in Scottsdale, AZ 08/15/2003
I bought the car in Scottsdale, AZ on 10/11/2003
VIN: 1B3ER69E4XV503641

Penality box for ViperJoe ( must admit, that I had same thought). As I understand it, the Chrysler extended warranty is transferable once...so if 2nd owner was the person that purchased same, you can (MUST) call Chrysler, and formally transfer that policy...maybe for a small fee by my recollection.

If 1st owner bought policy, you COULD be out of luck. Try to get your local dealer to run the VIN, help with the transfer.

TWO folks here that REALLY know the answer are Bill P. and Chuck Tator...hopefully one (or both) will jump in and correct any MIS-info that I have written.

The original owner got the extended warranty when he/she bought the car. I am the second owner. I bought the car at a dealership, but the original owner still has the warranty in his possesion. Since I bought the car at a dealership, I have no information on the original owner.

PUSH dealer for help...and, if that fails, use a "Viper friendly" dealer to get the job done.
