Need install help with amplified speaker..

Im purchasing a amplified Bazooka tube Thursday as I want something small and that I can put in another car easy. Can somebody tell me what wires is what near the amp in the back? im looking to connect from it so I dont have to run new wires. Any suggestions? Thanks

Well, as the amps changed between Gen I and Gen II, you'll likely need to start with saying what year car you have, and if a Gen II, saying whether its a GTS or RT/10 won't hurt.

If you plan to do many such mods to your car, you really need to consider getting the shop manual, which has the wiring diagrams included.

Oh yeah, I forgot that 1996 GTS.

You need to run the pre amp signal from your head unit to the bazooka. Then find a power and ground somewhere close by. I installed a bazooka 4 years ago and yanked it out shortly afterwards. It sounded marginally better and was awkward to install in our trunk.
