AutoArt offers 12 Vipers in their line. This line is one of the largest collections of Dodge Vipers, and considered to be one of the best made diecasts available. To date, only 9 of the 12 have been produced and are readily available. The other 3 have not yet been produced due to limited interest. They are:
#80047 2000 LeMans Winner #51 D.Dupuy/K.Wendlinger/O.Beretta
#89721 1997 GTS-R 1997 Sebring #51 O.Beretta/PH.Gache
#89722 1997 GTS-R 1997 Sebring #52 J.Bell/ T.Archer
We have recently heard that the manufacturer will be shipping the #80047 model within a month, however, there are not enough orders for the #89721 and #89722 to make it a viable option for the manufacturer. These will ship out to people who have placed online orders at ViperRacing.net in the order they were received. After this shipment, it is unlikely that this car will be reproduced again, making it extremely rare among collectors.
We have been asked by the manufacturer to see if there is enough interest amoung Viper enthusiasts in these other two models #89721 (currently 150 on back order) and #89722 (currently 50 on back order) to make the necessary minimum of 300 to produce the models. If we can collect enough commitments for these cars, we can leverage our buying power with the manufacturer, and possibly have them produced with less commitments than would be normally acceptable.
If you're interested, but do not want to commit to placing an order at this time, please post your reply here so we can at least show possible interest to the manufacturer. Any orders that would be placed online at www.ViperRacing.net would not be billed until the model was produced and shipped which under best circumstances, might be the holidays.
