Need transmission

This post is for a friend of mine in need of some info.
He has a 97 Viper with NOS and the trans is whining real bad in 5th and 6th as well as through the rest of the gears.

Does anyone have a used trans for a gen 2 viper? Where can we send one in need of a rebuild? I dont know any trusted shop locally?
