Hey guys haven't posted on here in a while. I just took my car to the drag strip for the second time. I ended up turning a 12.20 at 116.80 my 60 ft time was horrible at 2.05. Only mods so far are exhaust, filter change, shorter **** knob(Thanks Hensley I'll get it back to ya soon. I just ordered one lol) and worn out run flats. I figured with some better tires I'll be in the 11's since it spun forever even babied it out the hole. I know people posting better times but I didn't think it was to bad since it was in close to 90 degree weather lol. For tires I been looking at the Hoosier R6 since I want to try some auto crossing also. So if anyone has any input on the tires let me know please.

hmm even if it was 90 out you shoulda hooked up on that pavement. Did you drop the pressure on the rears? I had mine around 22psi on the close to blad run flats and still manage to get 2.01 60ft and 11.81 @ 125mph with just exhaust done on it in 40degree weather with wind.

as for tires.... I got the new Kumho sets for my 06 coupe and been driving it around with this cold weather...after a good 20mile drive on a good pavement they hook up VERY WELL. get JonB from partsrack.com great price

My stock '06 went 11.90 @ 120 w/ 1 1.9 60'. Weather was about ~70 degrees.

Sounds like if you can hook off the line and hammer on it, you'll be right there too.:2tu:

Hey buddy congrats on the improved ET. Yeah, it was pretty warm at the track yesterday, LOL! Like I said yesterday, get some tires and you're in the 11's easy. The shift knob helps me get through the gears a little quicker....glad it helped.:2tu: As soon as I figure out how to launch the car and how to control the power I plan on making a pass or two myself. Hoping for high 10's. We'll see though.

Take care and keep in touch.

Seems you shoulda done better. My old 95 with headers and gears did 12.4 @ 117 with a crummy driver---ME.
