I'm putting new valve covers on my 99 gts. I purchased mopar valve cover gaskets. Should I use any gasket sealer or anything, and does anyone know the torque specs. Thanks guys

IIRC the torque is around 95 inch pounds but I do not have my service manual any longer to check as I gave it away with my sold 1998. But in any event, once someone verifies the proper torque, DO NOT MAKE THE BOLTS THAT TIGHT! Back off a little as the factory torque can crack and lower corners of the plastic part of the gasket and result in a small leak. For example if the suggested number is 95 inch pounds, just go 85 inch pounds (this will feel ridiculously light, but will still seal). No extra sealant needed with the silicone embedded in the gasket.
