Lots of good things happening over here at A&C! We are almost finished on our Gen2 and Gen3 stage 3 head package. All porting will be done on a 5 axis CNC Head porting mill. We will be finished with our port configurations and have everything fully digitized within just a few weeks.

Not only will we have a finished product to show shortly, we will be stocking a few sets of our ported heads. We will also have and provide flow numbers on our stock castings vs our full CNC port. Because there is core shift, we will be using one of our cores to break through to the water jackets to determine safety standards on wall thickness. NA cars will not build the cylinder pressure that turbo builds produce, but we will have a safety blanket in place for both.

Pricing coming soon, but as always we are very competitive and the work speaks for itself. Pictures will be followed by REAL world dyno numbers on our new Dyno Jet 224XLC for comparative results.

Should you opt to use your heads in the build and have your car delivered here, we will be able to offer remarkable turn around times. Projected times are at 3 weeks laid out as follows:

1. Dyno vehicle before heads.
2. Remove Motor (Yes, it can be done in the car, but we like things clean. And this is how we prefer to do it)
3. Disassemble engine and clean
4. Fully CNC Port heads
5. Have all parts (gaskets, pushrods, and misc needed parts) in hand before Heads are finished (7 day turn around time) Sometimes sooner!
6. Assembly
7. Chassis Dyno Tuning
8. Deliver car!

ETA from start to finish, 3 weeks!

Pricing will follow shortly as we don't like to shoot from the hip.

Not only are heads in motion, but also some very trick short block assemblies.

We are currently doing some extensive oiling system modifications to the block, including boring out the camshaft journals for our proprietary camshaft and full roller bearing assemblies. (standard viper blocks have no camshaft bearings for those unaware, and use direct oiling for camshaft bores. We are changing the design and will post teaser pictures very soon.) We feel the oiling system changes we are implementing will aid our viper engines at there weakest points and focus on supplying the oil where it is needed.

As with any engine, reduced friction is increased horsepower. We are just simply making it better.

This isn't just planning, we currently have a gen2 engine being done which will have our full oiling system mods, roller bearing journals, and a custom solid roller cam spec'd out to our CNC heads. It will also utilize an A&C Performance twin turbo system comprised of custom triple ball bearing 76mm turbos. All stainless...polished...with all fabrication work being done in house.

Expected power of this setup is....well we'll just say BIG for now

and this is a full on street car.

We'll be posting pictures of the build documenting everything from the engine....frame mods....heads....turbo build....and dyno....

We're excited to bring everything to you under one roof with A&C Performance quality.

3 weeks! That's impressive! I waited wayyyy longer than that at a local shop. Can't wait until I can FINALLY have my car tuned by you and feel what 600whp is like.

We've revised our CNC Program and have completed the first set of heads. No shortcuts on these heads!!
Manley Race Master Valves, with Billet Round Locks
All New Guides
Titanium Valve Spring Retainers and Billet Steel Valve Locks. Over 40 % Lighter than stock components!
Race 5 angle valve job with our design of back cut on the valves.

Pricing will be $3850.00 complete. Pricing can be reduced with different valves, should it not need valve guides, or possibly going with steel retainers and standard style locks. Some people use cheaper valves, cheaper springs and it can bring costs down.

Our price is delivering us a bone stock head and receiving a top shelf component in every way. Clean, Glass beaded and ready to be installed. No stories on time delays. We will deliver.

On Gen 2 Viper sets we will be able to offer 5 working day turn around times. This is from the time we receive the heads, to the time they are ready to ship out! This is porting your good undamaged cores. We plan on having sets in stock for exchange as well. Again, 5 DAYS!

After the CNC porting is done, the bowls and chambers receive a small amount of hand blending. These will soon be on the car with a custom cam and tuning by A&C Performance. Then we will have a more complete story! :)

We've been so busy I haven't kept up on the posts...but this car turned out amazing. It's great when an unmolested car comes in that nobody has touched, messed with, or messed up! Car runs smoother than stock, sounds amazing, and flat out rips!

The car went from 386 rwhp to 537 rwhp, and also picked up as much as 167rwhp during the rpm band. This is with unshaved heads as the future plans call for a blower.

What really makes the car are the street manners. It behaves better than stock and is flat out explosive...at any throttle percent. Feels great. Topping this, the car went to willow springs the next day and spent 120 miles between 4k rpm and 6k rpm without a glitch.

Todd

Just so the parts are listed, we added the following:

A&C Performance CNC Ported Heads with Larger Stainless Manley Valves, New Guides, Lightweight Springs, Retainers and 10 degree locks
Adjustable Timing Set
Custom Roller Camshaft
Aluminum Flywheel
ARH Headers
Corsa Exhaust
Port Matched Intake
New Plugs, Gaskets, Etc
Removed the motor, Cleaned everything up, Degreed the camshaft
In House tuning

Hmmm so if I'm at 460/495 with just a full exhaust, filters and tubes, what can I expect from some head work. No shaving though, boost in the future.

Every motor likes a different amount of timing but safe to figure 80-100+ rwhp, and huge amounts of torque across the board.

What is your turn around time on twin turbo builds assume worst case it needs everything.
