NHRA request letter for change of ET rules.

I am posting this in behalf of the drag race fellows form the Corvette site.They are petitioning NHRA to lower the 11.49 cut off to 10.99 before the need for a roll cage. I thought that maybe additional support from other enthusiast would make a better chance for the approval of such a request.

I for one am also requesting the change for convertibles with factory roll protection to be lowered. It currently is 13.49.Obviuosly many here have experienced this dilemma at the track.

I ask the mods to please keep this open. This is not a brand against brand situation. It is gentleman with a common interest trying to help our favorite pass-time be more pleasurable.
