Northern California-AIR BOX CLIPS needed - can\'t slither without em

I am located in Los Altos, will drive a serious distance to be able to take the snake out this weekend and take my 2 yr old for a spin

I installed the S&B filters last night, and realised I am missing 2 clips
from the air box...I called every Chev/GM dealer in the East Bay, south bay
and up the Peninsula, only 3 had parts departments open, and only one had any
of the clips in stock, but they were a prepaid order of 5 so they could not
sell me any...

Does any generous soul in the Bay Area have 2 of these precious clips I could buy? Of course next week I will replace with extras! I have a 96 RT/10, but I think all the air box clips are the same...

This is a long shot! My cell is 925-872-7093, and I will keep it on just in case. Again, I am in Los ALtos, but will travel far and wide for 2 clips for this long weekend...

Have seen MANY folks drive with a clip or two missing...could also add duct tape for extra security...and drive Viper til your new clips arrive.

I got some work on the car scheduled this Wed. I forgot what part was supposed to be replaced but I got a check engine light come on and the codes pointed to that part. It was not the O2 sensor though.

Last time I saw him and Keith, we were discussing how little time DC allocates for warranty work on Vipers. I've heard the same thing from other Viper techs and dealerships and am concerned as this actually punishes Viper techs as opposed to rewarding them. They're good guys so I feel bad for the situation they are in.
