Ok, so here's a short story made long:

This past Friday, I got in the Viper and check engine light came on. Code P0135--heater sensor on B1S1 cat. Car drove fine Friday night and Saturday but light stayed on. Car had run fine (w/no check engine light) for atleast 500 miles with the new wires being spliced in to extend the sensor to fit the new Borla headers I installed. Yesterday, I pulled it off and recrimped the wire I spliced in to extend it. Car then ran like crap and the check engine light came back on. Same code. Today, I pulled it off, cut out wires I used to extend it and used new wire and crimped them in...car still runs like crap with check engine light on. Ga-VCA Dyno day is this weekend and I hate to not be able to drive the Viper. I'm going to take the o2 sensor off again tomorrow and see if I can find an aftermarket sensor thats long enough without extending it. If I can't, I'll just order a new sensor from Tator and order the o2 wire extension, but I know I wont be able to get the new parts before this weekend. Anyone got any better ideas?

Mine through the same code... its somthing to do with the design of the headers and the heaters getting hot to quick or not quick enough not sure which one.....
I put a Roe PCM in and no more codes...
I also header wraped the collector as this is suppose to help as well...
Give Mr T a call

I told him to soldier and heat-shrink... but he didn't wanna...

nobody listens to Joseph...

I heat shrinked the wires the 1st time I spliced the new extension wire in. It was fine until Friday when it threw the check engine light. So when I cut out the wire extension (and heat shrink) to replace the wire, I didnt have any heat shrink so I just crimped the new wire in. I do too listen! :)

I'm waiting on Dan at DC Performance to call me back about the o2 sensors they sell that are suppose to keep the check engine light from coming on due to the headers not getting hot enough.
