Yesterday, I was messing around with the daytime running light module Tom send me (thanks Tom!) and I got it mounted and tried it but couldn't get it to work. I started the car and let it idle as I worked. As I was fiddling with it, the engine seemed to get rough all of a sudden and the engine was rocking back and forth a lot more then it was when I started the work.

I noticed the engine light on when I got back into the car, so I grabbed my code reader and it had two codes:
P0352 Ignition Coil "B" Primary/Secondary Circuit
P0353 Ignition Coil "C" Primary/Secondary Circuit

Aftrer sifting through my shop manual, I found how to get to the coils so I'll check the wiring but I would assume that if an ignition coil went bad, I would either get six does or four (two coils, one does 6, one does 4). Anyone know if r this would be the case?

If anyone has seen this before, I'm all ears. I was also not able to clear the codes with the BR-1 code reader I had. I'll have to try a software upgrade.

Any help is much appreciated.

Just to follow up for the archives, I replaced the plugs, wires and the 6-way coil pack and I was still having seriously rough idle (sounded kinda cool) and the two codes were still present but once I replaced the 4-way coil pack, everything was fine and she's running smooth as silk.

How long does it take for the engine light to go out or do I have to get it erased? I have a code reader but it won't erase the codes (says car won't respond). It's probably the reader but any help in clearing codes would be appreciated.

How many times did you let the code reader cycle? It has to cycle at least 4 times if it is going to erase the codes. If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery for 5-10 minutes.

Thanks DrDJ. After driving it today (and not just starting it up and idling while in storage) the engine light went out.

You're already driving it? I was tempted yesterday but decided I would let it rain a couple more times to get all the salt off the road. Must of felt good though.

Yes, Inferno. I couldn't wait. I saw two Porsches, a Lambo and the usual assortment of Vette's yesterday. Went to my local Dodge dealership to change the oil (I brought my own) and they didn't have a lift low enough. They had to turn me away. Looks like I can't get any type of service from them now.

I'll be out today too. I just finished cleaning my interior (carpet cleaner too) and it's time for Round II ;-)

This is my first full year so I jumped the gun a little. :2tu: I'll be a little more retrained next year... maybe.

Jim Davidson's could probably do yours, that's where I go. My car is lowered now and they said it wouldn't be a problem. Allot of guys take their vipers there.

Why do you bring your own oil?

I saw a bunch of vettes too and I have been seeing porche's for a couple weeks now, those guys start real early.

If I wasn't working today, I might have gone for a little boot, what a day. I have a feeling there is one more dumping of the white $hit to come.

A major snowfall is certain and mine is a daily driver but I won't start driving it daily yet. I brought my own oil for the first time because I wasn't sure if Dodge stocked Mobil 1 synthetic. Turns out they did and so did Pennzoil, the place that eventually changed my oil.

I'm going to try one more local dealer in Newmarket (MacIver) and see how that goes next time I need something. They have a Firepower and a Challenger displayed on their website. Kinda weird that they would feature those when they can't be bought yet. I like their thinking though :headbang:
