did anyone else notice this?

Fall 2005 issue - viper magazine. page 56. gen I viper in picture with owner and sibling living in Japan.

what is "wrong" in this picture? i blew up the pic for clarity.

Top and sport bar are gone. just like the orginal viper prototype and a few that i have seen converted to this configuration posted here before.

The "symbol" is something i missed, but where is the roll bar???

Good eye as it looks like a copy to me. Ugly orange side marker, no sport bar, no viper emblems, and the windshield wipers also appear to be incorrect.

I think a lot of export cars need the side markers.

You must be registered for see images


The windshield looks correct, that it the easiest way to spot a fake.

i just noticed too that the red gen I above doesnt have fog light covers, but the "odd" yellow gen I does. which of those is correct?

I think all gen I have covers. They come off easy though.
All Gen I's and the first couple of years of Gen II's had fog light covers - the last year for fog light covers was 1998.

Unfortunately it correct, export units need these side markers which are the turn signals. Mine is one in Switzerland and I hate this ugly side markers :mad: . In the near future I will change those to nice ones, have to check local rules :rolleyes:
Rollbar removal? Who does this? Never saw a unit so far. Ugly ....
