Off to the 1/4 tonight!!

Hey Everyone

I'm off to the 1/4 mile tonight for the first time ever tonight!

Should be lots of fun, the weather is 82 sunny no breaze and low humidity. What is a good time to run with the following mods

-Smooth Tubes / KN filters
-B&B Cat back
-Random tech high flow cats
-Vec 1

Also what should the Vec 1 be set to, so I can get the best times?

have fun!! After my first 2 1/4 mile events I'm now arranging for Bill P to install a very similar setup to yours!! Be sure to adjust your tire pressures. at least 40 in the front and 20 or so in the rear.

The biggest concern I had when running the 1/4 was breaking a half shaft. Take it easy on the launches at first.

you dont have to worry at all with stock tires, but you shouldnt give it much gas off the line unless you want to see 13's on the clock, you should hit high 11's to low low 12's with your mods, look for the mph to be 118-120ish. good luck and post those number
