Oil Leak

Couldn't resist today. Had to take the snake for a ride....side sill-less of course. Still managed to break a few necks and get a ton of thumbs ups from people. The car even looks amazing with half the body panels missing.
Raced a Ferrari 355 F1 too!!!! Spanked him of course. Anyway, when I got home I noticed a small oil spot in the garage. It appears to be leaking from the drain plug. Is this normal? I have tried to tighten down but it appears to still be leaking. Should I be concerned about anthing else, or should I just go out and buy a new plug? Thanks for the help.

Plug has on o-ringed captured washer. Buy a new one at your local dealer. Don't over torque or you'll be buying a new oil pan too.

this may sound like a dumb question but what is a good rule of thumb to tighten...is there a foot lb rating? oil has only been changed by a viper tech since i've owner her...i'd like to think he knew what he was doing.....maybe not?
