Man, what in the world was he thinking? He's definitely lucky he didn't take anyone out with him, particularly the Vette.

That said, I hope he found the Porsche driver after pit-in and punched his head in for being a ****.

Actually after the initial mistake of braking hard while steering sharply to the right i thought the drivers reflexes were good....The initial mistake caused the tail to spin out to the left but the driver steered into the direction of the slide which helped him miss the wall... but because of the speed involved and the driver laid off the gas the car spun back around

No knowledge required to post on youtube. I especially liked comments about the other "Viper", the one with the round tail lights and the boat tail rear end.

He misjudged the pass on the slower car. Big deal. It was at a track and nobody got hurt. That's the place to do this stuff and learn. At least he was out there. How many of you have tracked your Vipers?

I just finished a day at the track, I'll post the tale of woe shortly, and I'm with you. I don't know that track, but it looks to me like the Viper was on the right line to make the pass. I can't tell from the Vid whether Viper guy was too hot or Vette was unexpectedly breaking too hard for what looks like a high speed turn. All I know for sure is that lots of learning happens at the track and some of that learning happens when you or someone near you is making a mistake.

I did the same thing , same turn ( turn 1 ) on Road Atl, in my old 05 Vette, at 97 MPH. Another Car wouldn't move to the left so I could pass, so I had to pass on the extrem right
causing me to be in a bad position for the turn. went into the gravel pit backwards.
If you track your car these things can happen !!

Glad it wasent my Vipe!!! :drive::drive:
