Open element Intake Air Tempurature sensor (IAT)

I know I've seen reference to an open element IAT sensor to use with my VEC 3 in place of the factory unit, but I can't seem to find the thread. They say that the factory sensor is slow to respond to sudden changes, which in a boosted app, can be quick and drastic.

Any info would be appreciated.
