some invisible paint might do the trick!!

I saw a guy do it at a car show once. Basically they started with the correct paint and then used a series of different very light sand papers and wet sanded till they got to buffing compound. Then on with the way. Could not even see it when they were done. I have not tried it but it did not take as long as you might think.
