paper spacer on camshaft sensor on 93

the 93 fsm talks about a paper spacer at the end of the camshaft sensor. the original one i pulled out nor the one i bought had this spacer. am i missing something?

It's a little under the thickness of an average business card. Once you start the car, it works its way into the oil pan. It's too large to get sucked into the pump, and too soft to hurt anything.

Have never used one, will never use one. Push up against the high side of the gear, release pressure, and make sure it doesnt move away much. Tighten bolt. Have a beer.

These are hall effect sensors... not rocket engines. These things operate on +/- 1/8 in most cases, and I don't like "things" floating around in my engines. *Most* of these sensors also have a built in spacing ridge.
