When I ordered my paxton, I got the unpolished one. I (stupidly) assumed it would look like my intake. Wrong I was. I really wish I had spent a few more bucks and gotten the polished one. What are my options? Can I send it back to paxton for polishing? Can I just yank it and have someone polish it?

I just spoke with Paxton. The can do it with a 10 day turnaround for $300 for the polishing, but the kicker is that it will also take a minor servicing/disassembly in which they say the bearings have to be replaced and that will cost an additional $424. Ouch. More than I anticipated. Maybe someone locally can polish it, or most of it without disassembly for less money.

I would go local... 700 for a polish... seems like they are trying to make you pay more for not getting it originally...

I think I found a local guy who will do it for $300. I just have to yank it all off an take it to him.
