I went with Dave's Big Brake upgrade and I am very happy. The mounting brackets & hardware are of the finest quality and looks like it will last forever. The huge Brembo units stop on the proverbial dime! Dave seems to be modest when asked what kind of improvement one will see over stock. I can tell you it's a huge difference. This is a major safety upgrade IMO and the looks of the big Brembo's are a real bonus. It gives the car even more of an exotic look. R&J did the powder coating on the calipers for me and at my request they put on custom ACR decals in place of the usual "Viper" decal. These are the exact ACR logos w/ flag as the factory decals. It gives it a totally factory look, and since they are Viper SRT-10 calipers, it is factory.

Rotor Pros of So. Cal. provided the four front SRT-10 14" Silver/zinc plated rotors to complete the look.

Love the car, the yellow is a little too much for me, I would have gone black or graphite. It certainly doesn't look bad, nice ride.

Yes. This is essentially SRT-10 GEN III brakes, and thus their temendous stopping power, on a 2002 ACR w/ ABS.

Hey Mike, Dave's gonna do my brakes as well. Should look and perform nicely . 14" rotors front and back? How do I get a hold of these guys? I'm looking for a set of cross drilled rotors.

Not at all. I coated everything (calipers & wheels) with Wheel Wax. Super easy to keep clean.

How much do the SRT calipers cost? Are you buying them new from Dodge?

You could, but call or email Dave. He usually has a line on calipers from downed GEN III's. They gave their lives to be donors for us.

I would agree that it would be a huge safety upgrade. Normally I am a stock type of person, however this upgrade seems to make alot of sense. Love the ACR on the outside flashing. Great touch.

nice setup. when is someone going to do a test with the gen3 upgrade on a gen2 compared to a stock gen3 and even stoptechs?
