Hey noone has been able to answer my question.. hopefully you guys can help.

1. When installing a new head unit in a 93 Viper, do you need to rewire the car?
Or can you still use the factory amps with the new head unit?

2. Are there one or 2 amps? one for doors and one for rear? or a 4 channel for all of them? and where are they located?

3. Installing a new headunit and speakers work ok with factory amps? or do i need to get new amps?

1. No, you can use the existing wires.
2. One amp and it's located in the left side of the trunk.
3. The stock alpine amp ***** big time.

Now my answers are based on my '94 that I had, so maybe there is a slight variation on the 93's.
The head unit uses RCA inputs and outputs as well as the amp. If you want to do a system that rocks, I would highly recommend that you replace the amp, head unit and speakers along with the wires. It's all pretty crappy stuff and if you leave one of the components in place such as speakers, you'll never be happy.
