Need information/help..have a customer with 99GTS that has popping noise out of the exhaust on cold start after 2-3 minutes idle. Car has roller rockers 1.7, Hennessey cat back exhaust and Mopar performance computer. Idle is 625-685 rpm...hold the idle at 900 rpm and popping is gone.
Idle adaptive is minus 10-13%, map vacuum is 10-12 inches, and the o2's go rich from the fuel being added by low map vacuum.
Have other cars with roller rockers and high pro computer that don't have this problem, the only difference is these cars have Boila cat back exhaust. Have talked to Dodge and Team Viper and they are no help.
Does anybody have this problem or any ideas?
