I've got a power steering fluid leak at the top hose fitting (pump to fan line). Is there an o-ring that went bad or do I need to replace the hose? The fitting is tight. Not pouring out - just a few drops of fluid on garage floor after each drive.

And as a side note; why is a fitting that is so easy to see, so hard to get a wrench on?:smirk:

Mine started leaking near the end of last year and I had to have the whole pump replaced. I never did see where it was coming from but at the time I didn't care since it was a warranty issue. I have seen a lot of threads on the pump going out and leaking. Mine did a few drops then started realy leaking bad.....

I've seen all of the threads, too. Just no solutions posted. I can clearly see the fluid at the base of the threads at that top hose. Anyone solve this before?
